In Maya mythology Ix-Chel is Moon Goddess. In Maya the Moon is represented by Y-shape (uterine) symbol. The goddess of childbirth, fertility, healing, medicine, moon phases; who is weaving the thread of life. She is the patroness of weaving and needlework.
