In May, 17-22, 2011, Russian Art Week took place in Moscow, in Center for Contemporary Art “M’ars”. During this event Irina Yega conducted a workshop on the subject: “Creation of fabrics by means of textile fusion”. The exposition of the exhibition included a fabric-art-object “Path. White on Black”.
Russian Art Week is one of the numerous art events of Moscow. But it differs from other exhibitions by its great number of various professional meetings, lectures, workshops. Much attention was paid to open-air classes: luckily the weather was favorable for them. It was pleased to note that the program of the Week was rich in different themes: the art of manga and comics, pastel graphics methods, music and painting, icon needlework. The interest in works and creative experience of the artists, who came from different regions and countries, was really great and sincere.
